About The Hosts
Atoya Burleson is a wife, mother and entrepreneur.
Atoya is no stranger to the sports world. She is a hurdle Conference Champion while earning dual degrees from the University of Nevada where she met her husband, NFL star and media mogul Nate Burleson. Atoya worked with the NCAA compliance department where she became acutely aware of the challenges women face in sports. She created insideLINES Podcast as a platform for connecting with women and giving them the opportunity to share their life experiences. Her passion includes empowering and creating a safe place for women to open up about their life journey, endeavors and all the moments in between.
As a podcast host, moderator, coach and social media influencer, she has appeared on a Super Bowl Pizza Hut commercial, Essence Festival panel, and People Magazine to name a few. Atoya enjoys establishing relationships with women from many walks of life as well as speaking into the lives of student athletes. Her focus also includes encouraging her 3 children who are also multi sport athletes while also supporting her amazing husband (CBS Mornings and NFL Today host Nate Burleson).
Tia Avril is a wife, mother, homemaker and podcast host.
Tia attended Purdue University where she studied Industrial Engineering. She went on to work for Newell Rubbermaid where she served in many roles including a Process and Quality Engineer as well as a Packaging Engineer working on a design team to create a plethora of products you may use daily! She also served as a Global Voice & Data Transport buyer for Ford Motor Company. Her experience in male-dominated fields and at male-dominated companies gave her a unique perspective that women in the workforce deal with everyday. It was those experiences as well as conversations with her friends that inspired her to start a podcast that would dig deep into women's lives with the hopes of inspiring others that are on a similar path.
When she isn't working on her podcast, Tia helps her incredible husband Cliff Avril (Philanthropist, Former NFL Player, and Real Estate Developer) with his charity work as well as raising her two adorable boys.
