Tia and Atoya kick off the episode with highlights from their busy week! Tia and her husband Cliff held their 8th annual fundraising dinner, Dining to Make a Difference - a celebrity waiter event benefiting the Cliff Avril Family Foundation. The foundation supports several health and education initiatives in the Seattle area as well as their work in Haiti to improve health and education for kids in the country. Atoya attended the kickoff event for the Great Girlfriends’ Doers & Disrupters Conference - a conference dedicated to igniting great girlfriends and putting their ideas into motion. Atoya is also serving on a panel at the conference on motherhood.
The ladies then head into “Hot Takes'' and share their take on a discussion Tom Brady had on the SiriusXM NFL Radio's show "Let's Go!" where the Buccaneers’ QB suggested that maybe the NFL has gotten a bit soft!
Next up, the ladies have an inspiring conversation with top sports agent and President of Football Operations at Klutch Sports Group, Nicole Lynn. In 2019, Nicole became the first Black woman in NFL history to represent a top-three draft pick when the New York Jets selected her client, Quinnen Williams, as the third overall pick. Nicole chats about overcoming imposter syndrome, finding your purpose, and the importance of self-care. Nicole also shares why she wrote her new book, Agent You and how to gain credibility and trust working in a male dominated industry.
Then, it's on to the Fantasy Football segment where Atoya and Tia give you updates on the latest injuries in the NFL and the leaders in the insideLINES Fantasy Football league.
Finally, they wrap things up with Mindful Moments where Kristyn Bly offers guidance on dealing with trauma, especially when it is unrecognized.
